Osito

2026

Painted nearly two years after his passing, this piece began as a portrait and became a reflection on memory. Osito was the last piece of Texas I carried with me when I moved to Spain. Through him, I witnessed a kind of love that reshaped my understanding of care, belonging, and connection.

More than a likeness, this painting holds a chapter of my life: home, loss, new beginnings, and the quiet realization that love can be gentle.
